In-Home Personal Training

We offer a variety of training options done in the comfort and privacy of your own home. In-home training sessions allow you to maximize the benefits of training, as your dog is able to learn new expectations, boundaries, strategies, and tools in their home environment. They begin to create new associations and imprints, leading to greater long-term success. All trainers at DogFit Dallas believe that the human’s education is just as crucial as the dog’s training, so we will work with your dog and provide you with the strategies you need to implement the training at home and help you better connect with your dog.

In-home training sessions are offered if you are within 20 miles of our location in Dallas.

Do you live outside of the DFW area? Let us know and we’ll be in touch.

  • Initial 2 Hour Session

If you’re not sure where to start your dog’s training journey, we recommend an individualized, private in-home training session, which will last around 2 hours. We will work hands-on with you and your dog to address your goals for your dog. DogFit Dallas believes that the human’s training is just as crucial as the dog’s training, so we will work with your dog and provide you with the strategies you need to implement the training at home.

  • Follow Up session

After you’ve completed an initial session or other training program, our 1-hour follow-up sessions are the perfect way to continue building upon previously introduced training strategies and addressing any ongoing or new struggles. We recommend booking your follow-up sessions with the trainer you worked with during your initial session so that we can build upon the relationship already established between your dog & our trainers.

  • Board & Train Consultation

This initial session is for those who are interested in booking one of our MAJIC Board & Train or MAJIC Immersion programs. This session allows our trainers to work hands-on with your dog while chatting with you about your goals and concerns for a longer program. Our trainers will be able to recommend which program will best meet the needs of your dog and your family, while providing strategies you can begin implementing in the interim.

  • Foundational Workshop

This three hour session will cover a wide range of foundational skills. We will introduce walking calmly on leash, place work, crate training, respecting thresholds and personal space, feeding habits, and general structure, routines, & expectations in the home. This session is best for new dog owners (puppy or adult) or anyone looking for a "reset" or fresh start, and ready to make a committed lifestyle change to improve their dog’s overall behavior.
